mtkang:
hi anyone see it?

http://www.scanstockphoto.com/photo/index.php

so does it mean we will not getting only 1 euro only?

microstockphoto.co.uk:
So it seems, as they say it will be 30% fixed, while it was 1 Euro fixed commission.

Not knowing how many packages they sell at each price point, it's difficult to say if its an increase or a reduction percent-wise. But since our future commission will be about the same (€1.005 minimum) or even higher, I guess we can't really complain.

Unless that price index is for non package sales? Example buy 5 images cash for EUR 7 - we get EUR2.1, instead of 7 EUR (1 per image)? Note that they do not refer to credits in the table, but only images (this below the paragraph announcing that they will allow single sales now). Then the packages will generate even less income for us? Am I reading it wrong or is this possible?  :o

Edit: My calculations are wrong - EUR 7 per image = EUR 35 for 5 = commission EUR2.1 x 5
But question still remains, what about the packages which up to now has been 100% of their sales (single sales are a new concept with them).

its actually very good...

BaldricksTrousers:
It's good and bad. I'm pretty sure we used to get 50% there, so 30% is a big commission cut. The big price hike for buyers means that we will never get less than the standard one euro per sale that it has been from the year dot.

I wonder if they will make an effort to promote the place now.
