I did a test sale for my new webstore, and everything worked fine up until Paypal.

The payment is listed as being Completed, but my balance is still 0. I do have the option of returning the payment, but when will my balance be updated? Do I need to confirm something?

you should specify which webstore.. most people will think it's symbiostock..

If you are talking about cmsaccount, it should have worked out of the box.. you must have missed something with your set up..

I suggest that you contact cmsaccount support if you are having issues..

I'm using cmsaccount, but I think it's a Paypal thing. Everything worked, in terms of payment, it's just that the paypal transaction appears in the list as complete, but the balance does not update. So I was wondering if anyone ran into the same issue with Paypal payments?

Well, if the money is taking from your account to pay your account then the balance is zero, right?

No, not taken from my account, someone made a purchase with her own account to mine.

Check your paypal account history and check if the transaction is actually on your account. And check if the balance on the other account is actually less the  amount of the photo

How was the test payment funded? PayPal balance? Credit Card? or Bank transfer/eCheck?  If it was a bank transfer or similar those won't show up in your balance right away, only payments made from PayPal balance or by credit card are instant as far as I know. That said I've never had that problem with CMS account so it probably is like you said something to do with PayPal.

Did you get a notification email that the payment was sent to you? If not have the double check that there are no typos in your PayPal address where you entered it in your store. (You've probably already done this but it's gotten me in the past :). )

The transaction wont say its completed if the payment hasnt completed yet. If PP is waiting for the money to come from the bank, it would say the transaction was processing or pending, or whatever.

As far as I know all payments are instant. Only echeck takes longer

Yes, the transaction is listed, as Completed. The balance is just 0. I have contacted Paypal, perhaps they've some delay or something.

I found the error: the test was a micropayment of 0,06 and that was instantly deducted as fee. So the net amount was 0.
