hello friends..
I am new in microstock sites and i always keep on listening people that there few images are accepted in x1 and the same set of images were rejected in site x2. Probbaly different sites are interested in different subjects of photos.
so why do't we make a list of subjects accepted and rejected by different famous microstock sites.
For example- (suppose-)
SS- accepts- landscapes,people,
Rejects- pets,animal,skyscapes
DT- Accepts-
Rejects-
and so on. Let it be just personal experience of the photographers and it may differ according to quality of images. But still I think we should give it a try which will definitely help newbies and others as well.
Thanking you all in Advance !

I'm (still ) on the begin, of all way to the micro stock business , but so far I learned that "accepted/rejected" photos aren't a mathematic science.

Ofcourse it is not a mathematic science but surely a common sense. I know some of microstock photographer who say that acceptance/rejection by any MS site is based on their business requirements.... though their requirements may change in long run...

Exactly. Don't try to figure out what sells and what doesn't. Buyers needs change and agencies will look for or not be interested in different subjects from time to time. A far better gauge is to go to a site like dreamstime and study the list of latest search terms to see what buyers are searching for.

ya digitalexpressionimages.. this is also good idea... btw how to search for recently searched keywords in DT ?

Yes the list of search terms is broken down into individual words which on their own may not be too useful. For example when I just looked I got the following:
beauty, wood, flowers, mountain, horse, coffee, child, design, santa, sign, car, bridge, dog, women, grunge, small, people, girls, ice, retro, isolated
The term isolated on it's own does no good but it was likely combined with another word in the list like "isolated santa" or "retro car on bridge". Look at the nouns to see the object of the search. If you compile a list, then look for the most common nouns that appear most often it will tell you the popular subjects.

Funny I just did a quick one same day about eight hours later. Three the same (I may have missed something)
day, leaf, hair, orange, girls, women, man, light, small, box, book, image, smiling, rose, vector, wood, businessman, close, pictures, wall, sunset
