I have been getting zero days with depressing frequency over the last three or four months.

Zero for me today...with a port of 4000+

It's very possible we are seeing a "new"SS.  I have over 4,000 assets there and I am lucky to have made $15 in a day and for some reason the video spigot is turned off for me. While I believe we will see a ramp up in the coming week or two (from the holidays) I have a gut feel that they are shifting the search to benefit low earners so operating income improves (investors love this). For top tier contributors that is tantamount to a pay cut. And, of course, what is forthcoming for those of you who get regular $28 EL's, that will be another pay cut since these will likely be negotiated based on volume.  The customer is not screaming that EL's are too cheap, so the only reason to change the cost structure and make it favorable to SS is that EL's are too expensive. So YES, the change is to lower customer pricing and at the same time lower commissions (now tiered as of Jan 25).  As far as low tier, SS will kill it when they start pushing their content for EL's, being that they are the biggest recipient of the pay cut amount and top tiers are the biggest recipient of the pay cut by volume. This is a pure win-lose if I am correct that the search has been changed so benefit new contributors and low tier contributors.

Actually i have move up with other agencies. This trend was all past year. Client, which wants to use his subscription, wants to be sure that if i told that the image is there, he will find it. Does not work with ss anymore. For others i can send an url and be sure that person will see the photo but not "oops" page or something like this.

I had a zero sales on a WEEKDAY last week.  That has to be a first.

It also seems that anything selling is older.  Just checked some of my keywords "Dancer kid" and I get hits on the first 2 pages of popular, but the photos are not good sellers at all and were uploaded in 2011-ish.  I have much better selling photos that are newer in this category.

My sales have never been so ahead of the rest as they seem to have been for some in the past but they are holding up now. Though I have noticed its the older stuff that seems to sell.
