Title: 10 images fore review
Post by: viviolsen on August 30, 2008, 13:15
Have submitted 10 images to be approved as member on shutterstock. On six images they have written rejection reason. On four it is written: 7 out of 10 must be approved. Does this mean the four would have been approved? And can I submit them again next time I submit 10 images fore review?

It means that they would have been approved but they ask you to upload 10 completely different images next time.

Itīs highly recommended to upload you initial images in the critique forum at SS for help.  I didnīt, and tried four times before I got in.

I recommend not to do this.

1. You will get a lot of [valid!] critique for images that are perfectly acceptable
2. You cannot submit images in sufficient for critique resolution if you do not want to make them FR instead of RF (Free of Royalty :) )
3. You cannot submit links to other stocks

Better way is to find somebody whom you trust (most of this forum would qualify) and ask for a help (and pay for the help by using referral link)

Well u always get an average in the critique, and can choose from that.  And thereīs watermarks if youīre scared of theft.

I know they love to throw themselves over newbies :)   But itīs better than not having a clue what to submit.
