I usually sell 5-10 videos a month. Today I had 33 sales for $15 each from clip packs. It is very unusual and I have reported it. Has this happened to anyone else today.

Were they related?
I'm seeing a surge in video sales this last week. Not 33 per day but much more than what I usually sell.
No reason to think there's anything wrong though, just a big marketing effort by Shutterstock.

I do wildlife. Some are the same species which is what i would have expected but there is no obvious connection other than wildlife. A big variety though.

I would smile and be happy! These things do happen and no need to get suspicious until necessary.
They could have liked your style and bought all those wildlife clips for future use.
Or just imagine a documentary about pollution. The editor wants to show nature/wildlife from around the world, not necessarily related by location or species. They search for wildlife and just pick some nice clips.
10-15 can roll by in a few seconds in a documentary like that.

I've had the same thing happen. 17 sales with P5 in one case. 12 with SS in another. Each with similar themes. It can happen and will always make for a "special day" when it does. Congratulations!

people sales 500 dollar and report it:)...i would have already bought a ticket foursome seaside..:)

Congratulations. And good for Shutterstock finding a buyer. I hope somewhere down the road you'll find out how the clips are being used and share with us!

Good work, I've had it happen several times but not for some time. Usually it'll be related subject matter and the same buyer, probably wanting consistency, either that or they like your style.
