Title: A reference image is required for this image
Post by: Yay Images Billionaire on September 14, 2017, 01:13
I got rejections on SS and BS for silhouette photos with the note:

"A reference image is required for this image."

What is required for the reference image? The photos were taken to use as silhouettes, hence lit suitably. So the originals look pretty much the same (Maybe 5% more shadow detail but not enough to make any details out).

I would include the original with an explanation of the process and see if that does the trick. Probably will.

They want to make sure the original photo belongs to you if you create a silhouette.

Take the original photo, bump up the brightness so you can see the details. Don't worry if it looks bad or overexposed. Resize it down to something like 800x600 and submit it as a reference image. This should get your image approved.

Thanks. I'll try that.
