I find it almost unbelievable since there were virtually no negative reports regarding SS sales in this forum.

BTW, I had a BME last month and Feb sales are as strong as January's. The first couple of days of the week began with a 30% decrease in earnings all that after a terrible weekend. But sales picked up yesterday evening and today's earnings are above average as well.

That doesn't seem right.

I just realized I hadn't yet voted this month, so I went in and entered a 10 for SS.  I don't know if my vote is enough to move the needle... I haven't seen an uptick for SS yet... does it take time to count your vote toward the total tally?

I'm guessing it won't matter at all. Since you probably enter 10 every month or even if you don't if you entered it for Dec sales, nothing will change (I'm guessing poll measures the trends of every user, up/down and of course by how much)

I'm new so my portfolio rise very quick on SS so it isn't very strange to tell you that this is already my BME.

The polls won't take my info. (I input my data and submit and the page goes right back to where I started.) So I wasn't able to participate. I'm wondering if this is happening to a lot of other people. Perhaps this is why the low earners don't have any data this month.

SS continues to get stronger every month for me. Thanks to a chunk of EL's I'm well on target for a BME and about 60% up on Feb 2011.

Keep looking for something to be wrong you'll find it or make it wrong just like the rest of the forum. All negative.

Same for me, experiencing constant gain month over month on Shutterstock (but I do increase my portfolio a bit each month also)

If you'd read more carefully, you'd know I'm in fact questioning the negativity ;)

The red arrow is gone from SS, and it looks to be even from last month now.

Since it had only been down by 0.04 points, maybe my 10 helped after all?

Not at all down. Always stable or even up, which is impressive in the current general situation.

me too - the poll won't take my info.  I'm unable to vote and I had a great month at SS and DT as well, increased by at least one category.  I also increased at FT, but not sure that going from category 1 to is worth much :).  So my January results are not reflected in the poll.

I haven't compared to last year month by month, but I do know that my sales have also been up about 60% compared to the last few months of 2011 (except Dec., that's when I started to get a bunch of ELs and sales really went up.)

I don't think the poll is all that indicative.  Ideally I would like to see higher numbers than $1,000.  Once you are over 1k there is no way to indicate whether your sales are up or down.

True regarding 1k+ (that's what I also told stockmarketer), but the same applies to all agencies, so it should affect all in the same or at least similar way. And that was the point of the thread, the poll doesn't seem all that relevant to the actual sales (as ppl are reconfirming), in fact when it comes to January sales it is showing quite the opposite trend

There are always all kind of shmacky jerks who can vote whatever they want even they not have any images on agencies for which they "vote".
Just abusing system...

I would agree, the poll is only so accurate...  I think it would be just as useful to ask if your sales are up, down, or about the same.  I also wonder if the votes are simply averaged - if you vote 10 and I vote 0 at best you would expect the average dollar value to be $500, but an average vote of 5 is a dollar figure much lower.  Exclusives have to decide if they vote 0 for the other sites :)

Thats it!  it would be much more accurate if the poll asked up or down.

It's down 0.01 now and there's a red arrow.  If it was up 0.01, there would be a green arrow.  It's a bit meaningless.  All those former exclusives that have just left istock and haven't got sales going yet on SS might be dragging it down :)

I see istock is up, my earnings there are close to DT, way off SS.  There's been so many complaints of falling sales there, perhaps this number is skewed by the few big selling exclusives that are here?  I just don't see how istock can be so close to SS now, as most of us here seem to be non-exclusive.  Another explanation could be that a lot of low sellers have left istock, so the average isn't dragged down?

Me neither. Some could be voting it down on "purpose"  if you know what I mean, making others look better or rising. Many former IS exclusives might have dropped their ports there and ofcourse it takes time before selling.
Same as I cant see how this 123, can come remotely close to FT, if it wasnt for the fact that some seem to have left FT and then gives it a "bad" vote, especially not since on the books, FT, is outstripping 123 by miles.
