It was #s and was not so bad... I make one mistake and now it's those letters ( like 30 characters????) I can't read all those stupid melted letters!
My only complaint, but this can be a real time eater :(
-
And the listening is no better
-
I had that last week, like 50 times completely impossible.
it passed and went back to normal.
-
But don't you find it easier when you
press the repeat three times its a lot
easier? My complaint is with 123rf. Why do I have
to activate a code a second time to see my
earnings? Is their site that insecure that you
have to match a second code to see your earnings? >:(
-
a little tip...
you only need to type in the one that is the most clear
-
I'm totally sick of that thing too. Just another mindless, pointless irritation that no one else finds necessary.
-

That doesn't work for me; gotta type both of them in....correctly.
-
The impossible ones are not needed, but i think its a good protection.
Remember all the problems on istock with stolen pictures and refunds and all.
i think its a protection for us contributers.

Its to keep bots, out, its not protection from stealing images. If they are going to steal images, I am sure they would just open an account manually and work from there.

I completely agree!!!!
-
Im happy if they keep bots out of my account.
-
I say 8-10 #s and a photo, would be great :)
-
So it's there to block bots? And meanwhile, FAA tells us that bots are a good thing. And none of the other agencies seem to care.
Captchas that try to get users to read barely legible text are money makers for the sites that host them. The captcha providers are selling character recognition services.
-
Do buyers have to jump that capthca hoop?
As buyer, a site usually only gets one second chance to give me one I can read, then I'm off elsewhere.
-
They did a great job making it idiot-proof. Now I can hardly ever get in.

123RF uses it to get to your earnings.

The captcha NEVER works for me on the first try, which is insanely annoying.
-
So who loves the captcha so much that they minused my post? Weird.

I got a minus too, as I was previously on 2, so that means someone doesnt agree with my explanation that its too keep bots out yet they didnt bother to comment why it was wrong.
A CAPTCHA (an acronym for "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human.
I dont see how I was wrong though... :)
-
Everyone realizes that those goofy low-res images of numbers we're asked to read are the street numbers of houses, right? And that the captcha company is selling character-recognition services to someone wanting to identify those houses, maybe from Google or Bing 'street view' imagery?
When you have thousands of people who need (not just want) to access your site on a daily basis, you have an asset that can be monetized.
-
Guys?
Can you imagine the clickworkers who sat there and bound letters and caption together in the first place.
That must have been the most annoying job in the world.
-
JPSDK. Funny one, didn't think of that ;)

I am beginning to wonder if I am human with all those captchas that are supposed to keep non-humans out !
