It's pointless, he won't read it, much less respond to it.

The answer is obviously "yes".  :o
Otherwise they would not sell videos or photos for the price they are selling them for.

You have conflated the words 'get away with' and fair. No it isn't right, fair or morally correct. Can they get away with it. Apparently yes.

The question was not whether it was right, fair or morally correct, but whether the "owner" of Shutterstock thought it was a fair price.

I have come to learn that most rich and privileged people seem to think that they are in the position they are in soley because of their hard work and everyone who is not successfull/making money the way they are just has not worked hard enough. To them this all seems fair.

You misunderstood the OP and therefore posted incorrectly. And then you have attempted to correct me because I used words not stated but implied by the OPs tweet.

Not happy? Leave! Staying with SS means you've accepted terms and conditions.

It is really crazy when you read historical documents over time, and it goes from divine judgment on the battlefield and trial by combat where if you can kill your enemy and take his goods/ kingdom you must be morally right and entitled to whatever you can steal because it is obviously Gods will.

To the market is an expression of Gods will/ judgment, if people are starving it is Gods judgment, if people are rich (by whatever means) they are by definition Good, or He wouldnt have blessed them. It is blasphemy for man to interfere (lots of this around the potato famine, for example).

To today, where the same sentiments are there well of course they deserve the success/ money, or they wouldn't have it. The Market (hallowed be It's name) must have judged them worthy (again, regardless of how they actually made their money). Its just not grounded in (explicitly) religious terms any more.

His answer:

"Did we really pay you that much? It must be a bug in the system, you should have only received a few cents."

I stopped shooting stock for the purpose of agencies needs, and shoot only what interests me and also upload to stock agencies whatever may sell. They can stick their woke diversity and same repeating yearly themes into their butthole. If they have a problem with that, they are homophobic and I'll sue them.  8)

I often genuinely forget why I don't like you, but you're always so thoughtful to provide me with a reminder me from time to time. Cheers dude!
