Hello everybody, still not received payment this month :( , I received only email with calculate payment info. Anyone get paid from Shutterstock yet? Thanks!
-
Did you earn more than the $35 minimum for the month?, I thought the same thing but then realized I only made $15
-
I received payment on the 6th.
-
I have not received payment yet
-
In the Shutterstock section, payment history, since the sixth of December, it says it was paid off on my account (Payoneer), but there is no money. At least I still didn't get the notification from Payoneer. Very strange situation! :o
-
The money came in 3 days ago.
-
not received yet
-
Me too.Not get. :'(
-
once in a while they miss the monthly payment and will add it on the next payment- sucks for sure...

I never had this case! No Problems in more than 130 months. They were always correct.
-
No money here either. If they pull the same bs excuse as in may and skip the payment again then they're really having some cash flow problems
-
Still nothing here, hopefully we will all receive it soon. My payment history also shows that payment was sent, strange indeed

Going on 11 years and they did screw up once with me. They admitted they screwed up to via email. I always made the min payout as well each month since day one. 8)

I received payment early this month on the 6th
-
Haven’t received mine either. Anyone tried contacting SS about it? Looks like half people got paid on the 6th, half not at all.
-
Still nothing here, my payment history also shows that payment was sent. I received email with calculate payment info too. This is strange, never happened to me before, they were always correct and on time. I hope we will all receive it soon. I got Adobe payment today, so Payoneer is not a problem.
-
Not received here too.
-
Just checked my payment history and I actually did make more than the min $35, it shows it was sent but nothing received and since so many others are reporting the same I can only assume a technical problem happened.
You can't contact this company though, well you can but the reply comes from another contributor in the form of a copy/paste from the website.
For me it's not a lot but it looks like something went wrong.
-
Not received payment yet
-
I, like some others, received my payment on Dec.6th. My payout goes to Paypal. Is this the same with all of those who haven't received payment? Is Pioneer the problem?

Nope Paypal too.

Unfortunatly, it is obvious that our missing payment will be implement in next month payment. This same situation has happend to me in January this year, I had to wait till March to get my January earnings. :(
-
No payment here. Payoneer :-[
-
Last month I got my Payment from Shutterstock on the 15th, so I would not worry yet.
-
What really pisses me off that I keep getting their crappy promo emails while waiting for the one that actually counts
"The Create Fund is teaming up with the American Society on Aging for our latest grant—Keep Age in Focus— aiming to better represent aging in today's society.
We’ll be awarding a total of US$10,000 to 3 winners."
How about paying what you already owe on time ?
-
For October I still had my minimum payment set at $60 and made only $59 and so didn't get paid out. That $59 carried forward to November when the total of the 2 months came to $160. Strangely, December was 'zeroed' very quickly on December 1st (whereas it's usually days later).
I did get the email confirmation of the calculated payment on December 2nd and which will be made before December 15th (usual date given as the latest date given for payment) but have not yet received payment. I can't remember another month in the last 9 years in which actual payment came in later than the 10th of the following month. No worries however until after 15th December!!

I do not get,eighter!Just i will wait 15Th of December.Payoneer mine,not PayPall in TR

First time for me that it's been this late as well but they do say the 15th as a general guideline.
If payment still doesn't come then I would probably be added to next month's payout, impossible to contact SSTK to even ask what's up. you get another contributor replying and copy/pasting from the website.
At least with Adobe you have Mat answering here in the forums.

Very true and we appreciate Mat for being there for us!

I receive this answer from SS
"My name is Kevin and although I am not a Shutterstock employee, I am a Shutterstock expert and contributor and am authorised to provide first-line support and will do my best to help.
There is a system issue at the moment affecting payments and we are getting many such reports. This is not a specific problem with Payoneer but with all 3 payment providers. Shutterstock are working to fix the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
Payment is still expected by the 15th of the month
Hope this helps,
regards
Kevin"

Glad I found this thread, thought it was just me!

And how would someone, who is not SS employee know that?
-
Do not wait till the 15th to contact support. They say payouts by the 15th but most companies give a range of dates to account for delays.
I didn't get paid in June. It's an error that has been going on since at least last January. I contacted support and was told it was "due to an error in the system that pulls together accounts eligible for payouts" and also that I'd be paid in the next cycle. They generally issue one payout cycle a month.
Experts like Kevin are the "newer" contributor support hired to answer simple questions, they know general answers. I do not remember if the expert gave me another email link to contact or if I found one on the site.
-
I wrote to the support too
and got the following answer:
Payments are made monthly. Unpaid Earnings reset to zero in the first 3 days of the month (longer at weekends and holidays), then you get an email telling you how much you will receive. Finally your payment will be made between 8th and 15th of the month
If your Unpaid Earnings do not reset to zero following reaching your minimum payment level then there is an issue with your settings. Please check your account information is correct and your tax form has been accepted in the last three years old.
If your Unpaid Earnings have reset to zero but the payment has not arrived in your account by the 15th of the month then the problem is likely to be with your account (PayPal, Skrill or Payoneer) receiving the payment. You will need to check with them to see if there is a problem.
Some money may be withheld for tax purposes, check your Payment History to see if this has happened.
If a payment fails the system will try and make the payment again next month until successful.

Try this payment strategy for paying employees and see how long you're in business...

If they did do this I would be getting all medieval on them.... as would a lot of other full timers who use this money to pay their bills!
-
Still no payment and 'contributor support' is non-existent....just refers to a FAQ page.
-
What if Shutterstock management decided to hold on to a majority of the Contributor payments so that they could have a very large balance of "Cash-at-Hand" for their End-Of-Year Report? :o :o

With these losers it wouldn't surprised me at all. Maybe our $$$ will pay for their Christmas bonuses!

They can also liquid invest the amount for 10 days and earn interest on it.

It wouldn't work because the money would still be owed to contributors and that would have to be shown in the accounts.
-
Ok I just got paid

Same here!

Yes we've been going over this for years, every time someone says the same things about some dark plan from some agency.
No they can't invest owed commissions. The money is not an asset on the balance sheet it's a liability. No they can't use the money to make the books look more profitable or pay bonuses. I know that sales commissions owed me in the past, were pretty much protected and not allowed for other uses, because they belong to the person that earned them, not the company.
But the Grinch is real, there's a book that was written about the truth.

"3. Payment Processing
Payments to Payoneer, Paypal or Skrill are usually sent between the 7th and 15th day of the month, unless the 7th falls on a weekend."
-
PAID!
-
My money is here too :)
-
Payment received.
-
Just got paid :) :D ;D

still nothing, no notification from Paypal

Congratulations to everyone who got paid! It does not matter what time of year this occured .
So many were affected and many dependant on the earnings to maintain their lives. Was it Shutterstock? Did the pandemic play a part? Huge daily submission volume and staff dieng
and/or resigning? Who knows? It is up to Shutterstock to explain to ALL their contributers what
happened. Otherwise, it is the same SS. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting. At least you know things are happening!

What do you mean with "what happened"? They say you will be paid by the 15th of the month. As far as I can see there's still 1 day left.
-
obviously, they don't really care about contributors, no need to explain anything, no real communication. Good luck to everyone!

I can't remember when the massive AWS outage was last week or the week before?, wonder if that happened at the same time SSTK was running payroll and caused this, same here, first time ever that they've been late.
-
Got paid from SSTK just now, 3pm Toronto time.
-
Me too :) :) :) finally
