Any one having problems logging in? I was able to check the number of sales from my bookmark, but when I clicked to see what had sold it went to the security log in page. I put the info in and it reroutes it right back to the same page over and over again with a new security word.

Yep __ same here.

Same here.

Glad to hear it wasn't just me.

Same here, but I didn't want to start a thread until I check 4 times if it was my error.

I tried logging in over and over...alot more than 4 times.. ;)

seems fixed now

Yep...got logged in.

Same problem for me now. The screwy security words are now so convoluted I clicked on the renew about 20 times before I could even try to type in whatever word/non-word they wanted.
Clue: Once it kicks out your incorrect code scrambled word you MUST ALSO RETYPE IN YOUR PASSWORD or it will reject the next attempt at deciphering that scrambled mess. In other words if you get their code word wrong you must start all over again starting with your password.

Ditto. What a PITA!

I think they shortened the session time. It's stored in the cookie telling them you are logged in. It used to be very long, now it seems to be a few days. It's a security concern. Dreamstime did it too.
The result is you will have to log in more often. The CAPTCHA is a real PITA, but as the spambots getting more and more clever, almost unreadable CAPTCHA's will become standard.
I have a fairly readable captcha on my own site for contact and comment, and regularly, the real estate and medicinal herbs people get through. That was to be expected. Time will come the scripts get better than the human eye to break a captcha. Then we will have to revert to biometric validations to log in everywhere. There will be a great market then for fingerprints instead of email addresses.
Look at the Featurepics forum: a guy got in spamming the forum all over in every thread. It's already 6 days like that. That happens with an unattended site or forum.

I have no trouble with the captcha on my desktop, but I find it close to impossible to make out on my laptop, usually takes at least 2 tries.
-
I was unaware of the origin of Captcha: http://www.captcha.net/. (http://www.captcha.net/.)
One of the most interesting topics I've seen in some time.

For the past few weeks, I have had to put my email address and password and captcha in every time I went to the site. Today, it looks like they fixed it. I actually stayed logged in. Don't know for how long though.

Me too. Sometimes the captcha is unreadable on my laptop. It gets very irritating having to try to guess after a couple of reloads. I hate it. :-[

It's happening again today. This is getting thoroughly annoying right now I'm stuck on login and it won't move. Kept asking me to login everytime I click on stats and it even logged me out of the message board as well so I can't post any bugs in their bugs forum.
UGH!
-
same here
-
terrible today -
Lately it seems as if the servers are verrrry sloooow - Clicking on stats takes forever to load, and I have a great cable connection. It's the only site I have trouble with.
-
It just came back up....
-
I had problems this morning but everything seems to be working fine now. Fingers crossed!

Whatīs the problem with SS? Itīs like itīs a one person company with to much to do. Nothing happens?? Itīs really annoying having to log in all the time. I donīt check or upload to SS like before, cause of this. SS sucks bad right now, and the income stays the same when all others increases..... Angry :P
