Submitted my initial 10 last night. All approved this morning + 1st sale & they haven't even appeared in my portfolio yet

congrats. Lots of people struggle a lot with the Shutterstock application.

many people are surprised with shutterstock, because it is the only agency that guarantee you will get a few sales the moments you are accept.

I started with dreamstime and the rest, and just a few days, it had overtaken those sites.

since shutterstock is with 25 downloads a day, and there is no downloads count, almost every newly uploaded files got a chance as long as it is useful for designers.

Having been beaten up on isock for a few months I had enough for the "entrance exam" - would have been a different story a few months back. Of course, putting your best efforts in at the start means the only direction to go is down
