I got one early on and then it died. It's odd and I'm wondering if it is another day when the sales reporting has gone wrong.

Sales just keep on dropping. I see on the customer website they're trying to convince people it makes sense to license images for legal protection rather than downloading from "those free sites." That says a lot...clearly sales are being negatively affected by all the stolen work and free sites out there. And from the tremendous amount of competition, now that they accept everyone and everything.

No disagreement on most of that except my sales are flat, not dropping. Competition up, free up, theft up, growth fairly flat.

And as usual, right after I entered that, the next day, I got the biggest EL ever on SS.  ;D

Let me say for the record, sales are not steady or predictable, I don't know when suddenly I'll get a whole series downloaded or a flock of ODs. There are ups and down, seasonal and some predictable general trends, but watching day by day just makes no sense. Month this year to same month other years, that's a good start to see how things are.

People with really large, diverse collections, used to be able to tell, with some idea, month to month, year to year. Then suddenly all that dropped in half. Of course they are going to be suspicious and try to find a reason why.

It's called competition.

I wonder if they are actually reporting all the sales or like all the other tech issues they have, some sales get lost in the ther.

After 4 days without sales I got 7 sales just this morning. I wonder if they dont report for a while a then throw all sales together in one bundle all at once.

My best days of the week are Tues, Wed and Thrus. Here's a breakdown from last month. Weekends are super slow.

Yes, I also get a flurry of downloads, must be some algo thing. Today on AS, I had 5 and nothing yesterday, so who knows if there's similar things going on there.

Keep in mind that sometimes the sudden flurry of downloads may be the same client buying similar images, I've noticed. You can see from the location.

Well, maybe the reason I stopped getting SODs is because they were rejiggering the pricing structure? Today I got one for 39 cents...one whole penny more than a sub. :(

Based on your numbers, I guess you have not broken the $500/month ceiling, have you?

I'm also wondering what happended to Shutterstock after easter. I had only one video sale in April. It was a good one ($102, maybe 4K?) but usually i have 2-4 sales a day.
BTW, it's extremly annoying that this big player isn't able to report video sales after they launched their new interface ages ago. That's ridiculous!
