This contributor: https://www.shutterstock.com/g/Johnny+the+bear?search_source=base_gallery&language=en&page=1&sort=popular&safe=true has stolen many most popular images and sell them like his own work!!! (he just turning them horizontally and zoom a little bit). I found lots of my pictures in his portfolio.
It seems that he also has account on Fotolia and trying to do the same copyright infrigment here: https://us.fotolia.com/p/206670149# I also found some of my photos in this portfolio!
Please, report this scum to support if You find some of Your work in his portfolio.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that he just rotated other people's images and cropped them. Nothing's straight.

you need to file a DMCA complaint. get a DMCA form or letter and then send it to the registered agent of the web sites and they will fix it.

Thanks for pointing this out. I looked though the SS portfolio and don't see anything of mine. Only the copyrightholder can submit a DMCA infringement form so if anyone recognizes the authors of any of these, let them know.

Lots of food; a few batches of skies, planks of wood and blurry light backgrounds. How did this ever get accepted - even SS's own similars logic is picking up the originals...

26 pages, click any image and you will see the original as the first match for similar. This is the worst I've ever seen and he's probably on every site. Going to take awhile to find this turd and flush him.  >:(

Please, if you find his portfolio somewhere on any other stock agency (except Shutterstock and Fotolia), let us know. I have already send the DMCA on Fotolia and reported him on Shutterstock.

SS has to remove him before the payout! I hope it happens soon... I'm sure he has gotten some money already.

Now 32 pages, he added 300 more since the thread started. Here's hoping that he's so new that never made a payout. Unfortunate that any sales will be lost from the real artists income.

I also reported. Hope that the many reports will get some swift action. Good that we can stop somebody like this before they are at it a long time.

His first image 531605455 is stolen flipped sushi. I'd guess no one photo on his pages are his own. Account is new 2017 or late 2016, if the file numbers tell us anything. I had 553,###,### accepted recently. seven weeks

I cannot believe this portfolio is still up. Shutterstock instantly and mistakenly shuts down other people's ports when their work is stolen and appears on free sites, but after several complaints about these stolen images (I'm assuming) this guy is still selling other people's work.

Noedelhap

Awful.

Shutterstock should really put some duplicate detection system in place to spot these thieves.

They have almost all the technology in the reverse image search and similars selection. Supporting their contributors should rank somewhere in their hierarchy - preferably higher up in the list than growing the collection by whatever means necessary

Perfect sting operation! Get unlimited downloads, download and upload the images, hope it'll last...when shut down, do it all over again. And again.

I believe SS will get it done. It's really how fast is what this discussion is about...oh and the &$%ˆ&#) crooks who do this.  My biggest issue asides from the copyright infringement itself is that these images erode the original artists income and also those of other worthy, honest, hard working competitors. To me it's more than stealing work, it's the affect on ones income.

I agree with whomever said something like this earlier.

Starting to evaporate right now. Should be gone soon.

It's less than one page today, but that remaining set still has stolen images (the clearly striking ones I checked all had the original in the similars list).

Why is anything still there given they've seen fit to remove a massive pile of stolen work? Shouldn't this person's account be closed with instructions never to try and open another one?

I can only see one image of a sunrise in this port. For a moment I thought maybe it is his/her only original image, but I was wrong, it is also a stolen image:

Tells us something about how the servers work, or don't. Popular 1, New 0, Best Match 3.

Sunset on the beach is stolen too and renamed Sunset. Not one original photo ever. I hope there's a way to prosecute this person.
