I've seen a drop of around 50% in my Shutterstock earnings (except for one EL) over the past week, is anyone else seeing this pattern? It's been like a week of Sundays for me at SS. I'm at the 38 cent royalty level, which makes me wonder if they changed the search algorithm to favor contributors with a lower royalty rate. It's really depressing to be happening right before the best months for downloads. I hope I'm just being paranoid...

I'm at .36 and I don't feel favored     This month is just terrible.

Best week in a bad month - not saying much

Things are not good at SS. I'm making more less same $$$ with 4k+ when I had 2K. I struggle to keep 1.5k dl per month no mater how many new upl are every month. Depressing

average week but this month is down from what I expected, will see how the last week goes...

Small portfolio, mostly editorial.  So far this has been my Best Week and Best Month.

pretty poor week in a pretty poor month. One EL made one week ok, but still pretty poor.

I am at that bottom of the barrel as far as pay and this is my worst month within the last 18 months thus you're not alone ....

DLs down and mostly sub-sales......

Good week. Just about every month is BME, tho I uploaded very few things in the last few months.

I never take any notice of one bad week.  The month overall hasn't been bad for August.  I'm selling less subs but the higher commission sales are making up for it.  I am concerned that other people are struggling there and that I rely on them too much now.  Hopefully I wont get the sudden fall in sales, that would really make things difficult.

After an absolutely spectacular July, August has been slow. I'll probably end up getting roughly the same amount of downloads or slightly below, but the percentage of subs is WAYYY higher this month. So $$$ will be well, well down.

Ah well, there's always September...

I am on the best streak ever for the last 10 days. 50% up from my average. SS just keeps going for me. They doubled my daily income this week. Going for BME

My SS sales have declined over the summer.  Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems that the more I upload, the less I sell.  Whether it's a pattern that will continue or not remains to be seen.

After a very quiet start to the month, the past week has been fantastic for me on SS.

bad week? Heck, bad year!

I can not complain, sales are in the normal range for me.
