Is it possible to convert my SS earnings into credits like iStock?

No, it isn't unfortunately.
You can at their sister site BigStock which should have most of their port especially after the bridge.

I know but I need to download some video files not photos.

Bigstock is, unfortunately, one of the very worst sites to try and convert your credits though.  A month or so back I wanted to just convert a few credits to buy a couple of images and it wasn't possible at BigStock.  They only allow you to convert ALL your earnings at once.  Needless to say I wasn't going to convert nearly 100 credits just to buy a couple of images. 

DT and Istock are the easiest sites to convert credits and buy images.

I know its probably a stupid way to do it but could you request payout and leave $10 or what ever you need to buy your photos then convert to credits ?

Do you mean at Bigstock? You can't even leave $10 as you can only request FULL payout.

I retract my statement then. I thought it was like some of the others where you can nominate how much you want paid
