Title: Cool new bulk edit for Shutterstock
Post by: leaf on May 10, 2010, 09:07
I just uploaded some images to SS and saw they have a new bulk edit feature.

You can select a bunch of images (ctrl+click) then click edit - then you can edit the categories and info for all those images at once.  Shutterstock was very quick to begin with but this just ads the icing on the cake :)

The feature appears to be very well designed and acts like you think it should.  Ctrl+click to select several images, double click to open one image etc..

I found the feature by going to edit my photos then clicking on the 'new bulk edit' button at the top

Thanks SS

Nice but, as you say, their old process was already pretty fast.  Have they done an update to the MR process?  Sure would be nice to apply the same release to a bunch of photos in one operation.

no - it's still the same thing there.

it's a great tool BUT if you exit in the middle of editing say a 50 image batch ALL changes to that point are lost, with no warning, so be careful. they say this is just a beta and that will be fixed eventually.  in the old version, you could edit many images, and still have those edits present when yu returned
