Beside new uploads are not appearing in SS, I've noticed that the descriptions of all new uploads of a fellow photographers are all wrong.
I emailed him about it. And he replied that the descriptions of all his original files were all correct.
Looks like something interesting is happening in SS site.

It's easy to accidentally change every description at once while you've got the "select all" option on during the final stage of uploading. Maybe he did that.

hello, I used to IPTC tag my photos via XnView, and used to put on more keywords the same line, separated by commas,
e.g.:
dog,animal,pet
lovely,cute
Since they have changed the website at SS, it is not possible to put more than a keyword per line (otherwise they are considered as a single keyword).
How can I convert my archive of IPTC templates to the new format required by SS?
thanks
p.s. sorry for reply to this topic instead of starting a new one: but I'm not able to start a new topic, the website allows me only to start a new poll :(

Perhaps if you had a space along with the comma? ie "dog, pet, cute"
I do the keywords all on a line in photoshop which I think puts ; between the words (and I use a space too). No problem w/ the new editor.

I used this, open files in batches but then I had to click on each thumbnail and save the data individually. There might be a faster option but this worked for me.

Wow that is cool! I need to remember to install it, I especially like the Live Earth map part. I have a GPS and used it once, never got into all that data matching, but the software reads it. Cool!
Yes with the newer SS tools, I had checked a bunch of files and when I changed one, they all changed. OOPS! Nice for some editing can sneak up and wipe out keywords or categories on others. It only takes once to make me watch what I do so I don't have to do everything over again. :)

thanks, I will try the program you suggest.
Anyway you talk about changing the IPTC data in tagged photos... I was looking for a program to change the IPTC template files...
