Title: Does Shutterstock have a bug with modelreleases
Post by: langstrup on March 09, 2017, 15:35
We never get images rejected because of releases. Now the same 95 files has been rejected twice within 24 hours because of model releases. Releases we have used before (big batches), and releases that are correct and so.

Seems like theres something wrong! Anyone else have the same experience?

Yes, I had a few releases that were accepted before rejected (and one was accepted with a different pic and then rejected with another after that). I asked what was up and they sent me the most useless boilerplate vague canned response - like they didn't even read my question and just saw "model release" and hit the canned "model release" reply. Since one of the possible answers they said is that the release wasn't attached I guess I'll just assume that was what happened and keep trying again.

if you are on a slow connection, on many web sites including SS, when you add a MR form or make another change, a slow or bad connection can cause you to think the change was made when in fact it was not.

check to make sure it says "saved" and in the case of SS I think it makes the save button unclickable when the save is done properly.

also, I have had previously accepted release forms from years ago accepted, and then rejected recently because of problems with the form.
