Title: Earnings Schedule Question
Post by: Anciients on September 26, 2013, 06:44
I can not understand how "Per-Day Subscription" payment working.

Example:

The max is 0,38 per image download to Contributors
1 year Subscription cost 2559 USD

25 download everyday X 12 months = 9000 download. 0,38 per download X 9000 download = 3420 USD

ST earned 2559
Contributors payout 3420

This is impossible..so where is my mistake?

Thanks in advance.

Depositphotos is even more interesting.  If you get a subscription plan for a year of 200 images per year, the cost per image is $.15.

What does this mean?  If you get $.31 per image as a contributor, it would be easy for you to make money off your own pics.  You buy the subscription plan and buy 200 of your images everyday for a year and you increase your profits 100%.  I would be surprised if people are not doing this.

If your portfolio all of a sudden gets 200 downloads a day, for a year, you are going to get caught and you can say bye bye to the 11000 USD you spent  ;D

Apparently the answer is that their other plans compense this losses, and not everyone spends all their 25 download per day, unless it dosen't works like fotolia which unused downloads roll over to the next mont.
