Title: Editorial on SS
Post by: RacePhoto on May 06, 2008, 11:48
Anyone who is uploading editorial to SS, how are sales? Before I go keyword and edit a couple hundred photos, I'm wondering if it's worth the time and effort.

Also after searching the SS site and looking for rules and guidelines all I can find is something saying, if you are uploading a photo without a model release, click Editorial. Is that it?

I'm really concerned that just saying, everything without a model release = editorial is a poor way of looking at it. Some photos without model releases aren't ever going to be editorial.  :)

SS is my number one seller by far.  I put up a lot of editorials of parades, travel, events, sports, etc.  They've even got me press passes for a few events.

So I'm pretty happy.

Thanks, that what I was hoping to hear. I just can't open another area of sales, and sell nothing. I'm running out of patients to waste time for no return.

I don't even have 100 photos up on all the sites and I dropped one, another went dark, and I cut back to five photos on two others. Pretty funny to be cutting back, when I hardly have anything to cut!  ;D

I may be wrong or misguided, but if the agency doesn't get views and sales, it isn't worth continuing. It might be that my material isn't suitable, or that they just don't have the membership, it doesn't matter. Bottom line counts, whatever the reason.

SS produces sales.

Hi
I agree with Mormegil. SS is my number one seller by far. For other images I have better sales at Stockxpert
