It isn't very stable, but in January I had 650 overall downloads and 3 enhanced, but I've had 3 enhanced this month already.

377 subscription DLs per EL for me so far this month (I do vectors).
-
You're very close to my averages, 1 EL per around 200 -250 total downloads.
-
Wow, I guess I really suck then, 1 out of 500+. It used to be 1 out of 300 or so in the first year, I dunno what happened then, especially since many had EL rushes.
-
Interesting question. From my stats it works out to be 1 EL per 290 downloads.
-
Mine is 1 EL per 330 downloads since starting couple years back. As of recent times it has improved though, so more likely these days would be about 1 per 280-300. Need to get it up around your averages dirkr!

It is not stable.
Average is 1 EL per 233 downloads since 2009/3.
But 2012 January is 1 EL per 92 downloads.
2011 December is 0 EL per 537 downloads.
2011 November is 1/196.
2011 October is 1/137.
2011 September is 1/66.
2011 August is 1/461......
-
After about 4 years my average is 1 EL for every 217 downloads of all types.

Interesting question. For recent traffic it seems somewhere between 300 and 500 is the avg.
For me:
This month is 1/351
All Time (since October 2004) 1/561

Wow, I must be doing something seriously wrong then ;)
This month: 1/1302
All time since 2008: 1/1173

I imagine it has a lot to do with the style and niche of images people have - but you certainly can't blame it on the quality of your port.

This raises the issue I have been wondering for some time...
Back in September 2011 (starting Sept 22 to be precise), there was a sudden rise in ELs... not just for me, but others experienced a weird EL boost all of a sudden as well. Since then, it has tapered off, risen up again, and gone in waves, but definitely more than in pre-Sept 2011 days.
To illustrate the trend I describe, here are my EL ratios of going back to June 2011...
Feb 2012 = 1 in every 371 downloads
Jan 2012 = 1 in 164
Dec 2011 =1 in 155
Nov 2011 = 1 in 128
Oct 2011 = 1 in 150
Sep 2011 = 1 in 136 (increase began Sept 22)
Aug 2011 = 1 in 939
Jul 2011 = 1 in 1814
Jun 2011 = 1 in 1201
(all months prior to June 2011, ratio hovered around 1 in 1000)

School report:
Thomas has a very creative streak, he works hard with regular downloads, but I feel that he needs to enhance his work on $28 downloads. I recommend some extra tuition after school ;)

All Time (since July 2009) 1/695

hmmm.... over 380 DLS this month and 0 EL's .... :( ... but feb. is not over yet.
-
About one every 1200 this month and about one every 400 last month so lots of variation!
-
I'm curious how many others see a marked increase in ELs beginning on or around Sept 22, 2011?
Please go look at Sept and see if Sept 22 was a turning point for you as well. (You probably need to have a large volume of monthly sales to spot a real trend.)
Here's my theory, one that I've proposed a few times before...
Mid-Sept was when SS began a significant marketing effort for its new "Single and Other Downloads" option. This probably attracted a large number of buyers who instead of opting for the monthly plan started purchasing single images as needed, and a side effect of this was that many more ELs were sold as well.
Does this make sense?

Thanks leaf :) Yeah I guess EL's for web buttons and web graphics are rarely needed, that may be the explanation.
@ Microstock Posts > :D ;D I will go home and practice on my $28 sales, promise

EL's can be important - they represent over 25% of my income on SS.

Was already discouraged; now, I'm feeling inadequate -- about 1/700. :'(
