Hi everyone, last month my earning in SS is $107.43, so today I received email fr SS wrote that my Total Payment is $104.97. May I know that $2.46 is it deduct for 30% witholding tax? I'm Malaysian.Thanks

$2.46 is not equal to 30% of $107.43.

I expect it to be a delay in updating the earnings for the new start of the month. It takes about a day for the earnings counter to reset to $0 at the start of the new month. So the earnings are added to the previous month's earnings balance before the reset. Once the previous months earnings are calculated, they will disappear from your balance, only leaving the earnings for the current month. 

I assume your earnings at the end of January 31st were $104.97 and you made $2.46 on the first day of February. You can see that when clicking this link

The 30% (or whatever your tax treaty agreement is) is withheld only from the us sales. So it is not 30% of all your earnings but 30% on your US earnings. So looks like you had for around $9 US sales in last month.
