This is getting worse then free websites like Unsplash.
At least there people know they arent getting payed for their work.
With Shutterstock we have to guess!

I assume Microsoft customers buy the advertisement package, image licensing included. So Microsoft would have to pay Shutterstock, and Shutterstock their contributors.

Hope so. It would have been nice to get a mail from Shutterstock saying so. Rather than hoping we'll get some money
