Is it just me but have you noticed old photos becoming re-submitted and becoming the most recent downloads. I'm not sure if I am imagining this but because with SS you get massive download rates on new photos I am sure I've seen the same photos surfacing again, must just be me and SS must be able to counter react against this.

On top of all that SS is a great site for high downloads max earnings.

I noticed it, and was very happily surprised  :)

Edit:  I didn't read the first line correctly:  I NEVER resubmitted old photos.  But recently I noticed that some of my old photos were downloaded again, and assumed that it was due to a modified SS search engine.

Yeah, I've had several downloads of totally old images lately on SS... which is helping my numbers of course... and I am glad for it.  I like to see all the images represented instead of just new ones.

seeing as the default search is not most popular and not newest I think it is just a natural occurance that some old photos rise to the top once in a while.

I noticed that one old photo of mine all of a sudden, after being silent for months, started selling 3x a day.  Perhaps it was because of halloween (it was a pic of an old house) or perhaps because one or a few people needed it, and then it rose a bit in the 'most popular' search and then more people are all of a sudden finding it.
