Title: Help 3d Illustrations rejected for "Objectionable Metadata"
Post by: MadPhotos on April 17, 2020, 04:47
Hi everyone! Recently i uploaded some 3D Ilustrations of covid19 virus concept and got it approved and started to selling. So i did some more and got rejected 2 times series of 6 3D renders for

"Objectionable Metadata: Metadata contains potentially objectionable or offensive language."

That is description- Coronavirus 2019-nCov novel coronavirus concept resposible for asian flu outbreak and coronaviruses influenza as dangerous flu strain cases as a pandemic. Microscope virus close up. 3d rendering.

And keywords - 3d rendering, antibiotics, background, biology, china, corona, coronavirus, danger, disease, epidemic, flu, flu strain, health, illness, infect, infection, medical, medicine, microbiology, pandemic, pathogen, pathology, sars, science, sickness, symptoms, vaccine, virology, virus, wuhan

The only thing i would think of is "coronavirus concept resposible for asian flu" Could that be ? if yes thats just dumb.

Remember that first series of renders was approved no problem with the same captions. And the captions was mostly copied from best selling illustrations.

Just to add all photos went through no problem in other 5 agencies.

Thanks

Update:
Thanks guys for replays, I did remove "resposible for asian flu outbreak" from description and left "China" and "Wuhan" in keywords.

So i guess it had to do something with Trump calling it China flu after all... I suggest to censor every word he ever said in public haha.

Well I got approved anyway.

Could be Asian but probably the China in keywords. I'm sure Getty will do anything to keep their Chinese partners happy.

EDIT: OOPS sorry, thought this was about IS. Will leave my comment to demonstrate that I can't read!
Shutterstock may have learnt to be careful after being blocked over the "Russian flag turd" image getting them shut down over there.

Justanotherphotographer is totally right.

I just start to upload COVID-19 related vector illustrations 20 days ago. At beginning i also get "Objectionable Metadata" rejections, but nothing looks wrong, i remove for metadata, China, Asia and Wuhan terms and i never get "Objectionable Metadata" rejections again.

Covid-19 origin in China has produced some discrimination against the Chinese, so i think SS wants to avoid any possible association.

Yeah lets censor everyone from using anything that says China because some stupid people are blaming the Chinese and there are even hate acts in some cities, by idiots! The fact is, the virus started in China in Wuhan, that's not the fault of the people or anyone by race or nationality. Now I read where some of the Neo-nazi's are using this for their agenda, and what's with some people in the US buying even more arms, for the fight against civil disobedience, riots or whatever.

What is wrong with people? We're all in this battle together, the whole planet. Why the displaced hate for other innocent humans?

OK so now we can't use those words, I suppose we should somehow blame Trump or Putin?  ::) Who by the way, had nothing to do with the start of the Pandemic and neither one has anything to do with the C country or the W location, that we can't use now.  (watch now, for hate replies)

We can certainly blame Trump, who crosses out “Corona” and replaces it with “Chinese” in his notes with his fabulous sharpie. He’s also calling for open armed rebellion in certain Democratic-led states with his insane tweets today. He’s a despicable dictator wannabe.

Watch now for you throwing an incendiary grenade into another thread and jumping out as soon as you get pushback you mean. You don't have to troll every thread for reactions.

OP asked a genuine simple question. SS is likely censoring for fear of losing Chinese business. Why inject trump (again).

Actually the only to blame is humanity its self. Too greedy in money making. Decides to "lets see what happened if I do this to the virus so I can make some money" and low and behold man unleashed the beast.  ::)
Not a surprise.
Same thing will happen with other things when you have a robot uprising too with those little nano bots scientists are working on. But by then it may be too late.

Not that I have anything against tech, biology and other. Just too many people abusing things. Most people only know how not to "play nice" Just the way it is.  :(

But fortunately we have checks and balances that keep him from achieving that, had it been true and not some embellished critical and political attack.

China, Chinese, Wuhan, Trump, Putin, Manhole, https://nypost.com/2018/05/26/pc-police-wont-let-us-use-these-words-anymore/

Hate speech is not protected by the 1st amendment, unless it's directed at Trump?  ;D But read that article, you can't say politically correct because that demeans the term. What ???

These are the kind of people that scare me more than Trump, all politicians, or the left wing extremists.

"The Facebook groups have become digital hubs for the same sort of misinformation spouted in recent days at state capitols – from comparing the virus to the flu to questioning the intentions of scientists working on a vaccine."

Or people who will protest because they are against any vaccination.

Crazy but true, good that you figured that out.

It isn't the Asian flu that was in the 50s.

People with no sense of humor will never understand what you write.

Trump is the schizophrenic President. Trump introduced a plan to reopen the country that urged states to start resuming normal activity only after a 14-day drop in cases. Trump refused to condemn the protesters despite the fact that many are not practicing the social distancing guidelines that his own administration has recommended. He's crazy

Singapore, which has been lauded for its initial response to the outbreak, has seen a surge in cases, reporting a record 1,426 new coronavirus cases on Monday, mostly among foreign workers. The city state’s prime minister announced a lockdown would be extended by four weeks until 1 June. Denmark the current ban on gatherings of more than 10 people will stay in place until 10 May. UK cases are rising again.

Georgia and several other southern US states are moving to ease lockdown restrictions as early as this week, as sporadic protests erupt in other states over the strict measures governors have enacted to tackle coronavirus. Let them, that will make less stupid rednecks to vote for Trump. Don't fight this, help make them go out and commit suicide. That will be enough less Trump votes to keep him from being reelected. Same for Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia. If you don't like Trump, stay at home, keep your distance, wait for the Trump voters to reduce their count.
