Title: How many downloads in a day?

Thanks, no idea how to fix the shutterstock link; computer not my niche.

Most of my images are on Dreamstime, as that is where I was exclusive for past year.

I'm on shutterstock since november 2010, I have 390 works online and 5 downloads in a day. I thought it wasn't too bad but now I'm changing my opinion ;)

My max was 60 - 65 if I remember correcly..

Post by: seawhisper on March 11, 2011, 14:50: I think the question would be stated more precisely if you asked how many downloads a day and how many photos do you have in your portfolio. It's hard to compare ppl who have few hundreds with ones who have few thousands. :)

For me that would be few downloads daily with max 9 as well. Not a very good result I'm afraid. ;)

Post by: bad to the bone on March 11, 2011, 21:43: 34 a day, 8 month ago with roundabout 350 images online. Meanwhile 500 images online i didn't pass this record...but constantly my average is growing, so it is just a matter of time.

Post by: lola on March 18, 2011, 14:32: My best so far was 7 in the first week I was up with 19 images. Since then 4 has been my best with about 38 images - which is not great, but my port is slowly growing...

Oh, and SS is the ONLY site, out of 8 that I'm with, that I have ANY sales - so that's not great either! ???

When I finally reach emerald on fotolia (2months to go) I think I will be the same way. I have only been counting down for 4 years now!

Post by: klsbear on March 18, 2011, 16:56: I finally passed the "100 images online" mark and I'm starting to see regular downloads - averaging 2.5 per day for this month with my highest DL days having 6 per day. Not alot, but good in comparison to past months.

I had a lot of Fall and Holiday images going into the start of this year and it's just been in the past 6 weeks that I've been able to take my portfolio from about 50 - 115 images with a stronger representation in season-neutral images. I'm optimistic about the future :)

It's the average that counts, not the peaks.
