My best selling photo made about $1,000 in a year.

I don't think a lot of people will reply.
Mine made the same amount in 6 months.

That's spectacular!
I wonder how much those photos make.

Majority of my photos never sold in a year.

$3,000 is probably about what the best selling photo makes there in a year.

That sounds reasonable. Nearly $10,000 revenue from 1 photo in 3 or 4 years isn't bad at all.

I don't think you should count on income from an image staying constant for 3 or 4 years, especially the top selling image. It's likely to be duplicated or tastes are likely to change or just the search could change.

BTW, that 'top-selling photo's of the week' page hasn't been updated for a while....note the preponderance of Valentines day images. ;D

One picture is not usually really one picture tho. Usually it will be most successful from a whole shoot. That 10.000 should be average in with all photos from the series.
How likely you will shoot a one of 10.000 image. Needle in a hay stack maybe.

True. Just trying to guestimating the best case.

I didn't notice that. what is that? Aren't they updating or those are actually selling all year around? Is it Valentine season in southern hemisphere?

Of course. Majority of photos I uploaded and got accepted haven't sold at all.
