Hi everyone,
I earned my first 37 dollars :) on Shutterstock and they send me an email that I can claim my money. I opened a PayPal account, and when I go to "Send and Request Payments" and then to "Request a payment" PayPal asks for the Email address or Name of the recipient. My question is: What should I type in this field? Is there a universal Shutterstock email address for requesting money from them or am I missing something?
Sorry for asking maybe such an obvious question, but I can't find an answer by googling.

Any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks

Mir

Congrats!
There is no need to request payment. You should be paid automatically.
Have you entered your paypal address.

If you have reached your payment threshold, the money will be sent automatically during the first two weeks of the following month (usually it is on the 7th or 8th, I think). At the beginning of the new month they will send you an email with your calculated earnings and the money will come later.

Just make sure you entered the correct email address for payments in Shutterstock account settings - the same address that you use for paypal.

in your account settings you can also change the minimum payout. Some time ago they changed it from $75 to $35

As I understand from your post your problem is at PP not on SS.

If you want to withdraw your money, you have to click on the "Withdraw" link in the left column of your PP home page not on "Send and Request Payments".
For some countries you can only withdraw to a credit card, so you have to link a card to your PP account (link is on the same page).

Click on the withdrow link and you will find instructions there.

Close. The OP was trying to send a payment request to Shutterstock from his Paypal account... unaware that the correct procedure is to register his Paypal details in his SS settings, and they will send him the money every month... without him having to send an invoice through PP or request payment.

Maybe so but after signing in to PP, he could see his money in his PP ballance, so why request it again?

Besides, the PP email says clearly:
"Shutterstock Images C.V. sent you $..."

That's why I thought he has a withdrawing problem.

Did you just make that up, or have you got a private message with details the rest of us aren't aware of?! 😀

As for the email, yes it does say that, but he's not received that email. Well, he's not said he has anyway.

I was not making up anything, this is the first page I see after login:

I just wanted to help the OP, not looking to argue with anyone. Sorry I tried.

Right, so you're saying that after signing into your PP account you can see your balance? That might be true, and probably is, it's just that the OP never said that... or anything close to that. If he did, then I can understand why you'd provide advice in withdrawing money from a PP account.

I'm sure when he logs in he can see his balance as well, but as he's just opened a PP, account and hasn't yet been sent anything from SS, then there's probably nothing to withdraw.

It should have done, but some people provided confusing and incorrect information based on stuff they imagined the OP said... when actually they didn't. Ah well, these things happen.

Dear everybody,

I figured out that the whole problem was in fact that I OVERSAW to CONFIRM my email adress in my PayPal account. After confirming my email adress in my PayPal account the 37 USD  automatically appeared in my PayPal balance.

The cause of this complication was the confusing fact that I actually could log into my PayPal account with my email adress and password, and once I'm in my account everything appears normal except for just a small button at the bottom that says: confirm your email adress. So I had an account with email adress, but this email adress was just not confirmed.

Thank you all for your help

Best regards

It may have also coincided with the fact that everyone got paid yesterday!
