Is it possible that the illustrations category went missing? I can't select if anymore?
I can only tick the illustrations Yes/No dropdown... ???

I just saw that once the image is pushed into the review queue, the "Illustrations" category is available in the list when you update your pending files.

I read this in the SS forums. They got rid of it. There is a message on your profile page above the map.

How embarrassing... :-[

Don't feel bad. I never read that stuff either. ;D

It's on homepage:
New: We've removed the "Illustration/Clip-Art" category from the Content Editor. When submitting illustrations, simply select "Yes" for "Illust./Clip-Art," then choose the 2 best content categories.

Got it now.
I wonder though why the illustration category is still available when editing pending files... ???

It's available for rasters... when you upload a vector, it already knows its an illustration and it chooses itself, and gets "grayed out." As for a raster, it has no way of knowing whether its an illustration or not, so you're supposed to mark it.

When you log in to your Submit Shutterstock page, you will notice at the top (been almost a week now):
New: We've removed the "Illustration/Clip-Art" category from the Content Editor. When submitting illustrations, simply select "Yes" for "Illust./Clip-Art," then choose the 2 best content categories
Now us Illustrator can't be lazy anymore, we'll have to choose TWO categories...! :)
