SS probably separated his long phrases into separate keywords at one point.

SS really need to get a grip on their system. Tech company my a**.
-
He has very strange keywords…
"young single businessperson speaking cheerfully on wireless device,"
Is that a keyword??

I've noticed that the keywords are often shown in English and Russian (that's my native language), adding different Russian meanings of original English keywords, even very funny ones. The total number is far more than 50 in this case.

This Guy from US! :o

I'm curious; does this make these images more discoverable?
I think Adobe/Fotolia suggests that it is more efficient/discoverable to have 30 keywords in spite the fact they allow 50...
-
Just did a test.
https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=30s+day+light+hunk&search_source=base_search_form&language=en&page=1&sort=newest&image_type=all&safe=true (https://www.shutterstock.com/search?searchterm=30s+day+light+hunk&search_source=base_search_form&language=en&page=1&sort=newest&image_type=all&safe=true)
So, the image is discoverable regardless of any kind keyword combinations you use. This is really taking a big advantage over honest contributors since that particular image has over 200 keywords that is search-able.
This is a new kind of spamming technique. SS needs to control this before it become another spamming saga.
-
weird because i'm getting some "irrelevant keywords" rejections lately...
-
Guessing they get the approval for the image, then update keyword's after that
-
its not spamming its an old bug, phrases are split in separate keywords, thats all
-
Yes it is possible, its the old keyworder algorithm. In old times you can add two words like: White Dog, with space beetwen two words, after approwing you get two tags: white, dog,

That was fixed a long time ago. Phrases stay as you write them, last I checked.
