Files are sitting on the FTP server but I never show up on the web site so I cannot submit them.
-
Having same problem :-(
-
Me too. :'(
-
They advertised contributor support site on main page so I send them a question.
-
From my count, 10th time in the last 9 months. Either they don't monitor or they don't test or neither
-
If you haven't already tried it, it's really quick and easy to batch upload on the site. I don't usually bother with ftp for SS.
-
I do not know if my message did something but yesterday's batch appeared on my contributor page.
-
Website upload has been flaky also. Images appear and disappear. Categorized and loaded pictures all rejected for corrupted files. Other images accepted but never show in port. Half the images uploaded via FTP yesterday morning just showed up. Other half still AWOL.
-
I just FTP's 15 videos. No issues. Pretty fast actually.
-
11 out of 20 have just appeared one corrupted 8 still AWOL

I have stopped to use Shutterstock's ftp a while ago.
I use their upload page, I get some eventual correction of the errors* to do (orthography, double keywords) in text, I correct everything and I upload on the other sites. (Thank you for your help Shutterstock…)
* I hope that Lightroom 6 will finally have a decent orthographic corrector……
-
Uploading direct fine on Explorer couldn't get it to work on Chrome - as I only do small batches at a time will probably go this way.
-
I've noticed a delay the past couple of days, with my uploaded images not showing up right away. (Through the site, not FTP.)

Just for stills, right?

Mantis, I upload only photos and vectors on SS now, so I don't know what happens with the other kind of files.

Maybe I am a little off topic, but I have noticed some issues on different sites when using AddBlocker and/or Ghostery
(Bigstock completely refuses to edit and submit with Ghostery active on Chrome [Mac], for example).
Maybe the solution is to deactivate these "utilities"?

I am not using FTP but I have been uploading vectors the last few days and their HTML uploader is a mess.
I just submitted the same vector twice but it simply disappears.
For a tech company you would expect their core stuff to work properly.
-
The third time I got an error that the EPS was missing the JPG. And the 4th time the vector went through and then I had all 4 showing in the editor. Had to delete 3 of them.
Certainly not working as it should.

Glad you added the "again" part. At least people know the question isn't new or different.
I was using the online uploader for a long time. Then it went nuts, (would skip the first eight files and then start uploading the rest) so I switched to ftp, which worked pretty well. Then ftp broke and I went back to online. For awhile, neither was reliable.
Then there's the issue with the file not found errors with ftp. So I had to upload those, online. Something with the file name starting with a number "10" for example?
Lately I've seen I upload ftp, go look and nothing is there. I go do something else for an hour, come back and usually - most of the files - are there ready for editing.
If I'm doing a single, I'll put it up online. Sometimes it's right there, sometimes I have to go do something else and check back.
None of this helps with an answer. Just mentioning it's not a personal or local issue. We all get it. The problem also seems to come and go at random.

Yes, this has been happening on and off. If you wait a bit the files will usually show up. PITA, though.
