Did you go up from 1 to 2 sales, or from 100 to 146 sales?

368 at this point. Last month my first 12 days gave me 246 sales. For me its a huge difference. I don't have a port of thousants of images just 435. So I hope it will stay like this.  :D I am growing about 100 extra downloads average every month since I bought my home studio. This makes creating more images allot easyer but it's not only my new work. Older images seem to sell better all of the sudden.

I'd love to see your port

Not having a lot of luck searching for "Mactrunk" - doesn't pull up anything on ss either.  Unless I just don't get something here.

I admire such poor searching skills really (http://www.shutterstock.com/gallery-809503p1.html)

LOL - that's pretty funny - had to chuckle.  Thanks, though :-)

Edited to add (after looking at his port):

Wow - with so many images of stress, pain, abuse, bullying, sleeplessness, anxiety, etc.... it makes you wonder about today's world, huh?  I mean, that those types of images would sell so well.  (Please note, this is NOT intended as a comment on the images, but rather a comment on what buyers must be looking for these days)

There must have been a search engine change then.  My sales are noticeably slow at SS this month.  I was assuming it was summer slump, but if others are having a good month then it's more likely a search change.

Same here!

Shouldn't you leave it up to the person who owns the port to post a link to their content themselves?

Shouldn't you leave it up to the person whose port was outed to do the complaining questioning?   :P

I did want to stay anonamous. I'm suprised that an anonamous person is now sharing my port and would have apriciated it if you would have waited for my reply if I wanted to share. :( But I do understand you guys want to see it. I guess you are will be sharing your port to now?

Absolutely - it is a fine example of exactly what NOT to do.

1870 images and a $5.00 day is a good day for me.  Not that I haven't had much better days, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

Now, I understand that of that 1870 images, a great number of them are a niche market, so let's say, maybe 1200-1300 images and a $5.00 day is a good day for me.  You are doing quite well, so I was curious to know what you do that does so well.  Certainly nothing I can compete with - I, myself, am not a good model, nor do I have access to many that are.  You have shots that show distinct concepts - good job!

Thanks for the compliment but the reason I am doing well is why I wanted to stay a bit low profile. I do think you understand just a little? Some members send private messages to me and I shared my port and info. So it's not that I'm living in a stock cave but I am verry afraid of copycats. They could kill a bestseller if done right and having my earnings and now my port in the open at the same time is a bit scary to be honnest.

All of us who have the little icons below our messages are already sharing our ports with everybody here, and obviously if we're building SYS sites of our own, we're sharing them with others.

I think anonymity is much overrated, which is why I always use my actual name.

You really do have a nice port, Mr. Anonymous. I'm way too much of a niche shooter (North American wildlife) to ever have that kind of sales.

Thanks for the complements. I guess you are all right. I know there was no bad intention and I think I might be worying to much of copying.

My earnings are up 36 percent over the same period last month.

Last month was a BME in terms of total downloads for me.

I always do better in the summers. My December sales are horrible, though. Will drop 50 percent in December.

Definitely when they monkey with the search engine all kinds of things happen.  Last month or so, on a Monday, everyone on the forum was complaining about low sales while I had 27 sales in a hour!  What a fluke.  It was my best day ever.  Ended up with over 30 sales that day but it only lasted that day.

Same old terrible sales despite having a lot of images accepted this year. I get the downloads but at 33 cents here and there it's ridiculous. Even with the current state of IS it still earns me far more than SS but perhaps not for long the way things are going at IS.
