Title: Is it worth it?

Is it worth it to sell vectors on Shutterstock? Or do jpeg versions of the image sell just as well?

we don't do that, haven't figured that one out yet

but people who sell vectors images and art seem to get about twice the dl's on shutterstock then the reg. photographers with about half the amount of images.

unless they are lying about there dl rate.

The jpeg version sells a lot less than the vector, but you can upload both.

My best selling vector: 222 downloads
same picture as jpg:  53 downloads
jpg sell less, but still enough for uploading them.

As said before, jpg files sells less then vector files.  But hey, if you've got the vector files, why not create a big .jpg file out of it? It only takes a few moments and you allready have the keywords.
