OK..Cool. Just wondering as we haven't seen anything in quite a while.
BTW, Not my Pic. It is one of my Models and My student took the shot. Nick Stanov. He was my best selling Model for many years with the "Coal Miner" shot till they screwed with Most Popular. I lost a huge amount of sales with that Move. Still Bummed about it.

why the focus *no pun intended* on Scott, Rinderart?
could it be that lately ss is more like the old trusty super-site that we used to love and enjoy contributing and the sales are going really well?
even i too wonder if there is a shift back to the old ss that we all helped make #1 .
whatever it is ss, keep going, i like what is happening since december with
your changes.

Hi All,
I'm currently at Shutterstock, but it is with mixed emotion that I'd like to announce I will be moving on at the end of the year.
I joined Shutterstock over five years ago to grow the video business, later taking responsibility for all of Content. After 20+ years of working around-the-clock in news and photography, I’m going to be taking a sabbatical to spend time with my family. After that, with a continued passion for the visual arts and more, I expect to embark on new adventures.
We’ve grown a much larger, very talented Content team, including Keren Sachs, Tom Spota, Jennifer Stybel, Vincent Jansen and many more. They are all available to support you.
Thank all of you for your contributions! I look forward to keeping in touch!
Best,
Scott

All the best Scott. We didn't always agree but that's OK. Enjoy the sabbatical. Maybe someday we meet again.
-
Thanks Ron! Good luck as well! :)
Best,
Scott

All the best Scott! Hope you somehow stay in the industry, maybe as a contributor? And we still get to hear from you.
But it is great that you are taking time out to spend it with your Family. So many people forget to do that.
If you are ever over here, please let us know.
-
Thanks for jumping in here to say hi Scott. I'm sure shutterstock (and MSG) will miss you. Enjoy the time off.
-
Thanks for being part of the community, Scott. We contributors really appreciate your participation. Is there a replacement slated for you, particularly for small role at the MSG forums? I think I can speak for many of us and say that we really like it when agencies participate in forum chats as a lot of us rely on this as income and it helps to have feedback from agencies to "clear things up" now and then, or, unfortunately, deliver bad news.
I wish you the best.

Yes, I sincerly hope there will be someone else coming in to give Shutterstock an active voice and a face. You have done a great job though, whoever it will be will have big shoes to fill!
-
I wish you all the best Scott! We will certainly miss you as a sincere, open and professional voice for SS here on MSG - and we all know that sometimes this place can be a bit "turbulent" ;-) :D
I hope you enjoy your sabbatical and find a fulfilling way of life and career beyond. And, obviously, if you miss a heated discussion about the wonderful world of stock you are always invited as a non-official here on MSG as well :-)

We'll miss you Scott but wishing you all the best - so happy for you that you can take time to spend with your family - the kids grow so fast so enjoy every precious moment.
Have a very happy new year and all the best in 2015! :)

I'm not Shutterstock contributor. However, you gained so much respect from me for being professional in this forum, Scott. I hope you enjoy your break, and very excited for your new adventures.
(Although, my heart skipped a bit, not sure if I hope and worry if Getty might snatch you up LOLOLOL)
