it was slow for a bit but works fine now.

I got a message that the site wasn't available about 30 mins ago and haven't been able to get on since then.

www.isitdownrightnow.com is reporting it's up and useable, but I'm not seeing that here. Not on IE, not on Chrome.

Buyer's side seems to be slow and erratic to me.

Correction: www.shutterstock.com is up and useable, according to isitdownrightnow, but www.submit.shutterstock.com is not.

Main Shutterstock page is now an error page. No pages at all contributer or buyer seem to be responding. DNS? Hacking?

Yea, not sure if they are in maintenance mode or hacked. If in maintenance then they should shoot an email that contributor portal will not be available for a day or two..
