Stopped uploading to SS beginning June. SS hugely down for July and RPD in the toilet despite me being level 6. This has been more than offset by other sites sales of my new content and not a single sale for less than 38c on Adobe!

I am averaging more than 10000 dls per month so I think this is statistically significant.

I was hoping this would happen, but wasn't expecting it so soon.

Thanks for sharing.

Im in the same boat but I stopped uploading to SS even before June because of their buggy reviews (be it human or AI) and now Adobe is picking up. Not as much as I would have liked but still its progress.
In my situation where I provide very few agencies Adobe is the only one worth going forward with. P5 to me is the most contributor friendly in every aspect but no sales makes them obsolete. Alamy is macro with micro pricing and SS is on on its way out.
Did anyone ever imagine saying this about SS? This was the top performer for practically every non exclusive contributor out there no?

I'm accepting the new reality also very slowly. Who would say that just a few years ago. I still think it will take much more time for a transition (from SS being number one to not being), it will take years. These empires don't go down over night, they go down slowly.Something is eating them from inside and they don't recognize it, so they could make an immune system.

For me SS never was the top agency - Adobe always performed better for me.
The reason might be Im quite new, started only two years ago so I never had a high lifetime tier on SS (was only tier 2).

So from my perspective it might have even been fair and good that others would loose their lifetime tiers since I didnt benefit from those myself.
But what really pissed me off was introducing the 10 cent sub sales in june. Thats a no go.

Adobe was quite low for me during the last weeks but it now seems to start again.
But Im quite afraid other agencies will follow SS with ricicolous cheap sub sales soon.

When mentioning the interior, I ponder whether Freepik's affiliation, giving a commission on sales every month that escaped to the agency, was not a perfect guide to carry out on demand what the client was looking for outside of Frepik, through its associated star collaborators.

Everything helps this deterioration, when the issue of not accepting similar ones arose, one month after announcing the sizes of the vectors, they were signs that something was attacking their vital system.

In addition, algorithms began to divert best selling images from some contributors to page 703. Adding that requests for help or information requests are answered by veteran forum staff. I think there is no vaccine for SS.

My thought is that, as the colleague said in the first post of the thread, the deterioration is precipitous. Talk about years, it seems like a long time. We'll be alert.

Regards.

It can't be an SS example of anything. Agencies know that if they pay 0.10 they will miss the train of fresh files.

Good to hear that for new people AS is the better performer.
If I may ask are you submitting images, illustrations, footage?

Other agencies will most likely follow and will have the right to do so if we continue to support SS, no question about that. This is something the tiny SS fanclub here on this forum is not able to grasp yet, or they just dont care. They certainly have different agendas then us anyway.

I actually have nothing against SS, well I do obviously but not in the way some here do. SS do as they please since we never signed a contract that listed how much we should earn or are even working for them but that also means we are not bound to them. We also do as we please.
Jon saying then take your content and go is all we needed to know really.

Thanks for your input mate. Hopefully more will chime in and report their current experience in this market.
