So SS has stopped sending out cards or is it just me that didn't make the grade this year?

I haven't received one, but I only received a card once or twice in the past, so I've never known exactly how these things were handled

I got one two years ago but not last year, and not so far this year.

I got one the last two years, I wonder if it means I have slipped in the rankings. I have made the same with SS as last year roughly, maybe a bit more so if that is the case it means there are some people making a lot more than they have been. Or maybe only the factories are making the top couple of hundred now!  ;D

No one really. It's not a very serious thread! Except maybe to indicate how seriously they are taking cost cutting!

Eta reply for two posts up

I will take a raise in lieu of a Christmas card.  :D They aren't my friend and they don't really appreciate contributors anyway, so, bah humbug.

They have cut back on unecessary expenditures to make sure that the funds go toward essentials like maintaining the cappucino machine, and having masseuses on call

For years I got a beautifully designed card signed by Jon and others. Not for the last couple years. I think they are only sending cards to Offset contributors now. Those of us who supplied the images they built their business on are now forgotten by Jon and the others.

Used to get them. They could easily send a e-card to every Member for free thanking us for making SS what it is and Happy whatever. Sorry. ain't gonna happen.

Shutterstock does not recognize a specific Christmas Day because every day is Christmas at Shutterstock. Thanks to us hard working elves.

I would return mine for poor lighting or focus  like they do for 90% of my pics

Just got a "Thanks for being part of our community" email from SS

I got the email - I've never once received a card, though. Had no idea they existed!

No card for us peasants. They spent all the money giving their administrative staff at Shutterstock Tower more important things like gyms, game rooms and Pizza Fridays.  8) 8)

Just found out they had much bigger things to worry about than writing cards. Guess Christmas is cancelled over at SS HQ with the Rex scandal hitting the fan.
