I'm new in ALL this.

Two months ago I signed up for Shutterstock and uploaded 10 test photos. I did not upload more, never sold anything. Yesterday in 5 hours two photos were sold with earnings $ 1.88 + $ 0.25, bought from two different countries.

I found it a curious anecdote to share.

Hope it's the start of an amazing career. I remember my first sale. It was of a time lapse sun through winter trees from dawn to dusk. I was amazed that someone would pay money for something I created... 6 years later I'm doing this full time and living my dream. I have quality time at home (filming when I need to) and most importantly watching my kids grow up.

Hope it's the start of something big for you:)

They were pictures taken with a cell phone for a university homework, nor expected anything, wanted to try the process of uploading Shutterstock and massive uploads with stocksubmitter more than anything. It's amazing what people buy.

Congrats on the first two sales. I hope you're uploading more photos as we speak. I think you'll find, as most of us do, that sales tend to be more regular on SS compared to the other sites.
