Like and extended or enhanced license. It is worth more money.  On SS it's $28 bucks.

Jokers should not joke here, because the serious ones will take you serious and the snarky ones will snark you....  ;)

All categories of sales are way down for me.  May has been on par with December and January, and I've experienced a 40% drop in earnings from last month.  That's not normal ebb and flow, at least not from my experience.  I've never seen anything like it at SS.

Same here around 40% down compared with previous month. still i manage to recover some of the loss with DT, 123RF and FT witch are around 20% up compared with April.

Overal May is  -20% compared with April.

Thanks for all the input, interesting to hear others are experiencing the same with few EL's this month.

After continual BME's for the last 9 months or more, it looks like this will be my worst month in that same time period due to the EL's disappearing. Hope its just a bump in the road and June picks up!

Only one EL this month for me, but OD downloads have been way up making this month my BME.

Or perhaps use an emoticon so people know you're joking... :)

No ELs this month for me, which is very unusual. Given that they won't give us any details about what rights they're licensing for those special "other" licenses, I'm guessing that rights people previously acquired via an EL are now being acquired via this "other" license. In the long term, that might be OK if they have to come back a second time for another license whereas before they got the lot with one $28 royalty, but we'll have to see.

I think the biggest problem is the complete lack of information about what's in those "other" licenses.

Edited later Wednesday to add that I have one EL now, so it's now just a very low month for ELs vs. very unusual with none :)

Fairly average EL sales for me so far this month but overall sales are good. On target for earnings to be 18% above May 2011 and only a few dollars short of March's BME.

Most interesting is that ss downloads begin to average about a dollar.

Good month for me - I seem to have been averaging one ED every 200 standard license download over a number of months, but this month I have had 6 EDs and 725 downloads - a much much better average. I wish I understood what sort of image makes for a good ED candidate, but mine seem to be random. I started to keep a record of which images get the EDs (funnily enough I just blogged about it today before coming to the forum) to see if there is any discernible pattern, but I'm sure this is one thing we will never get to the bottom of.

I'm seeing more single downloads (6 this month) but have no idea if they are taking sales that would have been EDs. I suspect not, but don't really know.

For anyone interested, here are my EDs this month: http://www.backyardsilver.com/2012/05/getting-more-enhanced-downloads-on-shutterstock/
