I see a total new most popular list, the old files are now in the list of most popular.
This can be a reason for slow november.

The same here. Best Match now has all my previous popular images. Popular looks messed up.

Yes the old but also lots of commercial good sellers. This should be Ok for many?

If its not going to reduce demand then its swings and roundabouts. Is it "messed up" or just a different algorithm I wonder.

In my portfolio it looks like a random collection of old, unsold or rarely sold images.
The least likely adjective describing the collection of images found on the first page would be "popular".

ETA: some newer images are mixed in from the second half of the first page onwards, but no real bestsellers (neither overall bestsellers nor recent good selling images) are to be found on the first three pages...

Nothing effected on our portfolio... probably only local changes.

OH MY! I'm so embarrassed with my Popular now. They seriously put my first submitted content up on the first page from 10 years ago. Please no one look ...

That is an exact description of my popular images today! 10 year old stuff that never sold are now my most "popular". It's embarrassing and absurd.

EDIT: I've now realized that my least popular images (the absolute last ones of all images)  are the ones I've uploaded in the lasts weeks and have sales! Great way to kill new images that people actually bought within hours of approval!

For me it's the mix of old that never sold and what sold today. I suspect they reset it?

Maybe they are updating the whole website, we saw many frequent updates recently. Contributor page updated, portfolio update and maybe they'll update the popular search, who knows. Be prepared.

If you look at your portfolio in the catalog manager with Most Popular versus on the buyer side you see two very different versions of popular - catalog manager version isn't mangled.

On the other hand, if I look at some search results (that I monitor every now and then) I'm not seeing the big change in what shows up sorted by popularity - in other words my popular files are still on the first page where I expect them to be

Hi Everyone,
Quick update!
Search results are acting weird at the moment due to the temporary site issues we are experiencing.
Our Team is working on a resolution now.
Thanks for your patience.

One of my friend told that there is a server outage in europe affecting 1000s of popular websites. I hope this issue and the outage issue are not linked.

Well there's some good news. I'll go search my best selling categories and see how that looks. They can mangle my collection view all they want. I don't think people come to look at my work just because they love me so much. Just like people won't buy bad keyworded spam images just because they see them.

Just checked, still broken, total crap that's never sold is page one of popular. At least I have all the pages back, new is new and best match is most popular the right way.

I'm still on top of my test category, new images are in between my old best seller. Looks like the search is working. Other one I'm top row center for a three word search, where that should be. The buyers side isn't changed by a bad upload page or our own view of our own work.

Could be, my company's website and mail server went down yesterday for a brief time.
