Just noticed today a new Portfolio performance graph on the main page with an on/off switch.
It gives you a breakdown of images, videos and so on.
The only problem for me at least is its a complete work of fiction. 27% illustrations and 7% vectors. Interesting as ive never uploaded a single one of either, ever to Shutterstock.
It also shows an assets submitted v approved...which also has nothing in common with what ive actually done.
For more random number gibberish you can see Asset impressions v Asset licensed which has nothing in common with reality and a breakdown of images to video ratio which surprise, is fictional too.

Totally nonsense. I have one video, which I only uploaded last month. It has no downloads. I had made the error of going exclusive on P5. I'm moving things back.
My graph, right now, shows license breakdown of 31% Video and 68% Photos. :o

I have same exact graph :)
I would prefer they spent there time addressing plummeting sales.
They just want to get contributors uploading so they can use your content freely to profit from AI training

It's possible to opt out there.

At some other places, feeding AI is mandatory, and makes the notion of an author's intellectual property a concept of the past

Does this mean Shutterstock now accepts AI-generated content from contributors?
No, although we developed an AI tool that generates images, Shutterstock will not allow AI-generated content to be submitted by contributors for licensing on our platform. At first, this may seem contradictory, but there are several reasons behind this policy:
- As per our Contributor Account and Content Submission Guidelines, we want to ensure contributors can prove IP ownership of all submitted content. Since AI content generation models leverage the IP of many artists and their content, AI-generated content ownership cannot be assigned to an individual.
- We also want to be confident that artists are properly compensated if and when their work is used in AI training models. Given the availability of various AI content generation models in the marketplace, we are unable to verify the model source for most AI-generated content and therefore are unable to ensure all artists who were involved in the generation of each piece of content are compensated. You can learn more about our content policy here.

So its an internal development template test they accidentally rolled out live again then.
Yep. I also have the same graph: 60% photos, 27% illustrations, 7% vectors and 7% videos. I do not even do videos or vectors.
It also claims I have submitted 700 assets and have an approval rate of 63% for the past 30 days, yet I had zero rejections in that time and only submitted a couple of photos.
I had the same graph and the same percentages. However, in the last 5-10 minutes it disappeared and we're back to the old display. Maybe they backed it out because it was faulty.
Uh why are our iStock graphs changed to look similar?

irrelevant - while the resulting report is useless, it can be produced by traditional non-AI methods which have been used for years

they use the dataset collection for training and pay contributors for that

what's your point? contributors are PAID when they opt in
people complain when they're not paid, then opt out when an agency offers payment!
I think the graph is gone?
Is this new or did I just miss it? And there was no way to set Level of Expertise. They say it won't effect anything, and can't be seen, except by us. OK then why are they asking?
Select the best option to describe your current level of expertise creating commercial content. You can change this at any time.
Professional - I earn all or most of my income through content creation
Semi-professional - I have sold work, but content creation isn't my main income source
Serious Hobbyist - I regularly create content and may have some training, but do it primarily for personal fulfillment.
Enthusiast - I enjoy creating and sharing content casually
Student - I'm currently studying or learning about content creation
It gone.
Given everyone had the same data it looks like a development template using dummy data that should never have escaped the dev sandbox.
