I must say I am impressed at how quick I am finding newly accepted images selling right after acceptance. How are buyers finding these images so fast ? I thought that it took a long time for new images to be seen (or so I was lad to believe)

are you new?

actually shutterstock was a lot quicker for new images a few years ago..

nowadays, a good image will get a few sales a day but that's nothing compared to 25-30 dls a day I used to get per one good image a few years ago..

now it's veeery veery slow and older images get much better download numbers.. I don't earn less, but older images definitely make more..

I'm not new no. Why do you ask ?

A single image getting 25-30 dl's ? That's unheard of for me. I will be lucky to make between 99c to $5 a day on all images.  :-\  IS still makes me more money even though I am unexclusive.

obviously that's not the case for most images :) I just gave an example..

What I meant to say was that If I uploaded that image today it would make 4-5 dls a day.. not 25-30 like it did in 2008-2009..

now I have better images that can't sell as good as that.. so obviously things have changed and better images sell less.. it's either because shutterstock doesn't favor new images as much, or there is too much competition that it's impossible to get those numbers.

It won't be Canstock for sure. I call them Can Stock, Can't Sell.

I also notice that all the new images fade out with only handful of downloads, only the old images are keep selling.
