Has anyone kept link to the old page? I hope it is still there. New page does not allow to choose new images first.

Hey, Stopcomplaining.  Some of us, if we didn't have this forum to vent on, would explode.

Yes, complaining does not accomplish much.

Sometimes, it does get the attention of the sites we're complaining about, and they act on it.

But, Shutterstock never comes here.  So, yeah, complaining about them here doesn't do anything but vent.

Guess what?  We're still going to do it.

Yeah, Scott (ex- ss guy) use to come on our site and our voices actually helped at that time- seems like a million years ago.  I feel either you accept what is as what is and live with it.   Okay, I do complain but to my cat since he actually listens to me  :(

Why should we have the possibility to put new image first in a page about top performers??

Because this was the only way to see the performance of new images in order by upload date. It was very helpful for me and a lot of contributors in my country shared in a forum they are not happy with this change too.
I can't understand how hard is SS to give us the opportunity to sort images by: Total Earnings, Total Downloads and Upload Date

I see very hardly a new image  being a top performer.
(It is a little like when I see job offers asking for young people with 30 years of experience  ;D)
Or we have not the same understanding of the meaning of "Top performer".

But I agree that Shutterstock should give us more possibilities

top performer is to boost our ego, you know!  it's like all those other "used to be so great with SS!"
... now that it's not 7/10 entry criteron, $35 payout, SOD $28 to 102 joining the dodo bird extinction,etc..
the only thing that will make us happy is to look at...
(you guessed it)... top performer!!!
.. like... oh wow, i made $$$$$$ with this one shot. oh wow, this is so cool , i must frame this
where everyone can see!!!

the problem with the old but very simple and does it job page is that it shows you in
very large size... how (cough).. little you are earning day to day..
but thank goodness the payout is $35 (phew)...

or else where are we going to afford to pay for our six packs !!! 8) 8) 8)
