Looking at my portfolio sorted by "Most popular" at Shutterstock many of my newest uploads show up on the last page. So they have essentially a hard time to be found. There was no download surge of the new images as usual after I uploaded them. Anyone experience the same?

My most recent uploads to SS went nowhere.  Prior to that, I always got a few DLs right away on a new image.  As has been posted on other threads (by me, and too often) it seems like the big sites have all drastically de-emphasized new images.  Some of us are wondering if there's any point in continuing, if new images can never acquire the 'popularity' they'd need to sell.
