I think I know the reason why...$75 minimum and I only had $73 something. But usually the money stays in my account until the next payout. This time, on Oct. 1 it disappeared and my account showed 0. I have emailed support, after explaining the problem they asked for my username and I haven't heard anything back from them. Sent another email a few minutes ago, restating the problem and asking for resolution.

Anyone else have this problem this month or is there a new rule whereby if you don't make the $75 minimum they just take your money?

There is no new rule. I hope that you get it all sorted out.

Are you sure you are looking at your "totals" and not at your income for the new month? To see your September stats you have to select it in the drop down menu... just checking

Hope it gets sorted out.

Yes, below "earnings this month" click on the details button.
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
The row after all-time totals is your current balance.

I hope this is what you are looking for, I hate to hear stories about missing payments!

Pixart, you are correct. It does show the total for both months there. But I swear it used to just stay in the total, where it says earnings this month. Maybe I'm thinking of another site. Well anyway I'm glad it's still there.

FYI, I called Shutterstock support phone number today. The gentleman that answered said that they will only handle subscriber tech support at that number. They are no longer equipped to handle contributor questions or problems. How's that for support? I couldn't even get them to tell me what you guys just told me. Hmmm.

Anyway, thanks for the tip on finding the missing money.

Nope, the earnings for THIS MONTH only show the current month. On Oct. 1st it goes back to zero, but your total at the bottom keeps growing. In November, it's going to say $0 again up on top. It happens to me, and everyone else, every month.

Click on September and you can see a day by day breakdown of your sales. You can look at each day and what photos sold, and for how much. Try this at some other sites, and you'll find nothing close to the detailed reports for photographers.

I don't know why so many people seem to jump at the worst, before they look or ask questions? Did you really think one of the biggest microstock sites in the world, doing tens of thousands in business, would try to rob you of $73?

And I don't know why you didn't read the first couple of posts. I did ask questions. I did email support and ask the question. And no I don't think I would intentionally be robbed. But thanks for your late-to-the-party details.

SS encourages us to use their forums for questions about glitches and bugs. If it's determined there is a widespread problem, they will look into the problem and take care of it. If the problem is on your end, the more knowledgeable contributors will respond just like they have in this thread. And if there isn't a widespread problem or the contributors can't help you, SS will then personally assist you.

I used to review for one of the sites, and it doesn't surprise me SS now only accepts buyer support calls. The amount of queries and complaints by contributors is astounding. They are inundated...day in and day out. At some point, they either have to hire more people to deal with the calls (which would reduce our commissions), find additional financing, or just say "Enough is enough." The site I worked with eventually went out of business in part because they could not keep up with contributor demands, and therefore did not have enough resources to take care of the people who actually bring in the money...the buyers.

Nope it says earnings this month for "earnings this month" not the total. In other words, the "missing money" was never missing.

Easy part is you got the answer here and found the total at the bottom of the page, where it will be again in November. Keep selling so you can make that number disappear and a check or payment appear. Nice that you had $73 and will be able to cash in this month.

Maybe I should have just written, Don't Panic!
