Maybe I'm being paranoid....   or should I be suspicious about the unusually high number of OD's that I have been getting?  They are exactly half of my January earnings.  Today is the 12th and the OD total is more than November or December's total for OD's.  Has there been any rumour of credit card theft at SS?

Or could it be IS buyers trying out a new site?

My On-Demand are way above normal too, but I'm not chalking it up to the IS factor. I think the trend away from IStock will be much slower than something noticed from month to month, but think it is happening.

YES, OD for the last 2 days is just great.
Hope these buyers are from IS.

Ive found on demands to be increasingly a chunk of shutterstock income. About a third monthly total for me with around 2.5k images. I'm chuffed with that!

OD sales have been growing in significance for me ever since they introduced them but particularly the last 2-3 months. EL's have doubled or trebled recently too. OD+EL sales now make roughly half my income at SS.

I don't really understand why SS doesn't just sell licenses via 'credits' like every other agency rather than their less-flexible 'image packs'. They seem to be very keen to keep distance between themselves and BigStock as they 'cater for different markets' so maybe that's why.

I bought a OD package there and you can't download in full sizes. It's small and medium jpeg only, and the amount of images you can purchase is very limited. It's not thefts in my opinion

You can buy the full sizes via On Demand, if you buy the right package. See http://www.shutterstock.com/subscribe.mhtml, and op in for either 5 or 25 Downloads of the "All JPG and Vector sizes" OD subscription. Is it possible you bought the "Small & Med JPEG size only" package?
