Three days ago I posted the current on-demand prices as seen on the Shutterstock website in this (http://www.microstockgroup.com/istockphoto-com/how-does-the-new-istock-stack-up-against-shutterstock/msg393926/#msg393926)thread.
They were:
All sizes and vectors:
5 for €39 (€7.80 per image) or 25 for €179 (€7.16 per image)
and:
Small and medium JPEGs:
12 for €39 (€3.25 per image) or 60 for €179 (€2,98 per image)
Today I see on the same part of the Shutterstock website:
All sizes and vectors:
5 for €43 (€8.60 per image) or 25 for €199 (€7.96 per image)
and:
Small and medium JPEGs:
12 for €43 (€3.58 per image) or 60 for €199 (€3.32 per image)
The only difference: The first one three days ago was from my computer at home, now I am at my workplace. It's a different ISP (I am not sure if they are sitting in Germany, so it may look to the Shutterstock site that I am located elsewhere - at home the German version of the website is automatically loaded, here the English version; but at both places Euro prices are shown).
Any idea?
Has there really been a price increase or does Shutterstock show different prices for different countries?

If they increase pricing and not our royalties, they are getting into the same category as Getty / Istock, as it literally means a decrease in royalties. Instead of a raise, they go the opposite direction.

You have to have been around for a long time to remember the last iStock commission increases, but back then they always tested the new pricing levels for two or three months to make sure they weren't losing customers before they adjusted the commission rates.
That was before they were a publicly quoted company, of course.

Maybe they are testing prices and will then give a raise.... hoping

I dont see nothing new in my pc...

Just for the record, I made (and attached) a screenshot or what I see right now.
Will look again tonight from my computer at home if it looks different or the same.

Now back home I see the old prices.
So either they have in general different prices up for different users / locations or what I saw at work today is one of their tests...

The should have raised prices long ago. Let hope they actually do.
