I recently reactivated my images for sale on Shutterstock as it was my plan to start to delete them between now and January 1st when I'll be closing the account (I don't really trust them to delete them all if I just request account closure).
I had a portfolio of over 800 images and now I have 474. It's been stuck at 474 for almost a month. I've written to ask them where the remaining images are and I haven't gotten a clear answer. They did say it was a known bug and they were working on it but it's been some time now.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have 4500+ images on Shutterstock
I've opted out on 1st June
As my actual low income doesn't permit me to stay opt out i've decided to opt on again in October, actually I have 0 images online in my portfolio, I've tried to upload 16 new photos and they are now online, only 4500+ are missing !!
I've also asked to Shutterstock about the glitch and I had the same answer as you.
Maybe it's not a glitch and only a punishment to those who opted out ...who knows ?

Thats for sure! >:(

I just reactivated my images to meet the 50 dollar payout threshold. I had 1700 images before deactivating them and now only show 117 for licensing.

Isn't minimum payout $35 now? Just mentioning that in case your goal is get the money and leave. :)

It takes a few days for reactivated images to reappear

The images have more boycott stamina than the contributors. ;D

Yes, two weeks and nothing. Although the images are there - in my catalog manager. Even my portfolio on the live site shows that the collections have images in them. But when I open the actual collection - none of those images is shown.
Maybe they have not had this situation before that contributors have opted out and then back in. So the software actually does not have this scenario :D
